Linn NASA’s Lucy mission to begin in October 2021 will be the first space mission to deliver the remaining Trojan Steroids to the outer planets of the solar system. Jupiter. The mission takes its name from the fossil of human ancestors (your researcher “Lucy”) who gave a special insight into human evolution. Also, Lucy’s mission will change our knowledge of the origin of the planets and the formation of our solar system.

This artist’s insight shows Jovian Trojans. Based on a 2012 study NASAWide field infrared browser or WISE. The Javanese Trojans – steroids that orbit the sun in the same orbit as Jupiter – have similarly darker and less glare-like surfaces with a hint of burgundy. The results are described in this artist’s concept, showing the Trojan leader and subsequent packets in orbit with Jupiter. Observations from WISE also confirm the initial suspicion that there are more asteroids in the Trojans’ lead group than in the following group.
